Visited may times and have never been disapointed with the qualitybofn the beef, be it joints, steak ( fantastic flavour), or the cheaper slow cooking meat. Good helpful service nothing to much bother.well worth the drive.

Given that the beer is the most expensive in the town, it is terrible quality. They have a selection, but obviously either don't know or don't care about keeping it well. The Kings Arms up the road only has about 3 beers, but they are good quality. And the barmaids are unfriendly. Nice building though.
